Why Has Hucog Injection Been Prescribed During Pregnancy?
hai, i am 35 yrs old. i am 7 weeks pregnant. my gynaec has started me on inj. hucog 2000u and tab susten PV. I had a CS setion 5 yrs back and my baby is now 5 yrs old. I wanted to know the reason why she has put me on Inj Hucog , since it isgiven for infertility problem

I understand your concerns. HUCOG is Human Chorionic Gonadotropin injection is given to prevent miscarriage and support the pregnancy.
Usually it is not given in all pregnancies.
As your age is 35 years and you are elderly gravida,may be your gynecologist has given you this injection.
So,i would suggest you to consult your gynecologist for more clearance of doubts.
