Why Does Water Drip Out Of My Nose When I Bend Over?

Hello,

23yrs old female,

Ever since when I bend over water drips out my nose. Now it has gotten a lot worse.

Now whenever I put my head down it drips and sometimes without warning when I am just sitting or standing.

I don't feel sick and have no reason to think its allergies ( my eyes don't itch, throat is fine).

But sneezing occurs sometimes.

Any suggestion you could give would be so appreciated! thanks!

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi , as per your clinical history it appears as you are having CSF rhinorrhea .

To conform you need to do biochemical test of drip for Beta2-transferrin which is present in CSF.

Here my suggestion is that you should consult your ENT doctor as soon as possible for thorough examination, necessary investigations and treatment.

Hope this information helpful to you, take care and have a nice day.

Regards - Dr KK ( Karade )
