Why Does My Son Have Headaches And Feeling Of Vomiting?

My 7 year old son has been for the last 5 days with headaches and bad tummy aches like wind pain. He says he feels like vomiting but he hasn t. I have been giving him panadol and a tablet to help get rid of the wind in his tummy but it s now been 5 days and it s not getting any better. Is there anything you can suggest that can help him?

Hi,

First of all, there is two scenarios. The first scenario is if he had fever with vomiting, headache and abdominal pain, he could have appendicitis. In this case, he should do CBC to confirm the diagnosis, then ask a surgeon for help. The second scenario he could eat out-dated food or have abdominal infection, so he should do stool analysis to confirm the diagnosis. The pain killer is not effective in his case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
