Why Does My 7 Year Old Daughter Has A High Fever With Repeated Chills?

Hello, my seven year old daughter has a high fever with repeated chills. It all started Monday night. The fever does respond to ibuprofen, but is back up high again within 5-6 hours. She has no nasal congestion and no cough, but for a few hours now slightly bad breath and is very distraught about her very bad taste - she spits out her saliva. I can't see a throat infection, but her left lymph node in her neck feels slightly enlarged. Thanks for any help.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Common causes of Fever with chills at this age are
1) tonsillitis and pharyngitis
2) urinary tract infection
3) typhoid
4) malaria
5) sometimes viral fevers
6)pneumonia
7) deep seated access
From your history it looks like tonsillitis. So get her examined from doctor .if it us there then she will respond to oral antibiotics.
But if throat is normal then she will have to be investigated to find out cause
