Why Do Some Kids Become Reserved?

Hi Doctor, my 2.6 year old son doesn't speak a word, is very reserved, doesn't mingle with other children, a poor eater, ignores us when we say anything, screams badly on scolding..his all milestones were achieved very late n he is not saying even mama-papa at this age. Please help & suggest.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
If he is the first child and if his exposed to multilingual society around, he picks up speech very late.
Some children develop speech by 3 or 3 and half years.
Food fads are common at that age and mother has to take more time and persuade him to eat with tender loving care.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
