Why Do I Have Spotting After Periods While On Birth Control Pills?

Hello yes I have a question... okay so I currently take birth control I had missed a few days started to spot, and continued to take my pills and had my period. It is a week later and i started to spot again? Mainly bloody discharge. Was wondering if I should be concerned for a pregnancy? Please met me know what your opinions are on this. My breast have hurt the entire time. None stop and I don t get a lot of pain in them during the time of the month.. a few days before but never constant.

Dear member,
Thanks for writing to health care magic.
If you have missed your pills (more than 1) then there is a risk of pregnancy. also as theses are hormonal pills there is the loss of hormonal support to the uterus. so there will be spotting or prolonged bleeding. Kindly do a blood test for pregnancy. if negative then consider taking tab pause -mf one tab thrice a day for 5days to stop the bleeding meanwhile continue the pills.
