Why Do I Have Brownish, Red Spots On My Feet?

HI I have brownish red spots on my feet! It was only one on one foot that itched, but over the month it has gotten worse. It has spread to both feet the spots are getting bigger and there multiplying. They itch really bad is there anything else I can do other than put lotion on them?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

What is the approximate size? Are just discolouration, or is elevated from the surface? It would be helpful if you can send a picture of the lesion. Brown itchy lesions may suggest an insect bite reaction or allergic reaction to some other insults. Usually these will respond to an antihistamine like Levocetirizine, along with topical steroid creams for 1-2 weeks.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
