Weight gain is a common complication while being on Depot progesterone. Regarding the recent change in your eating habits it appears as though you may be showing signs towards Diabetes mellitus among other diseases. It would be wise to get yourself tested for Diabetes as soon as possible to rule out this dangerous disease if present.
Regarding good eating habits, I recommend you have plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and oats, wheat bread, cereals and pulses in your diet. Take a glass of milk before heading to bed at night. Exercise regularly. Keep fit.
