Why Did I Get My Periods Even After Overlapping The Birth Control Pills?

I overlapped my sprinted birth control in order to not have my period on vacation. Instead of skipping my period I still got it as scheduled even though i started a new pack when I would have take the placebo pills. In the past this never happened I always skipped a period for that month and went back on schedule, this time I have my period as usual and now it s not stopping.

Sometimes the endometrial growth is more meaning the lining of uterus grows more and than the hormones in the pikls are not able to maintain that lining stable and hence menses occur despite of being on pills.
It will not occur everytime.
Now to stop bleeding take tranexamic acid tablet tds.for 3 days and than stop.
