There are two possible reason for discolouration of the areola. First is infection and second is malignancy. As per your age and habitus it is more likely to be malignancy. The possibility becomes more strong if you have family history of it. Further confirmation can be done after the biopsy. Biopsy will tell us regarding cause and if its malignancy type of malignancy.
