my legs between my calf and ankle are a red purple colour, like chicken legs. They are itchy, hot, very tender and and swollen, and have been like this for well over a year. Left leg the discolouring goes 20% around, the right leg the discolouring goes all the way around the leg. The skin is very thin and shiney. My legs fill up with water and I need to take strong diuretics on occasion to empty my legs I have had varicose vein operation on both legs about 15 years ago. I am over weight and dont exercise much as I have severe back pains due to a fall many years ago. Any thoughts?
