hi,
dexpoten syrup contains preparation of dextromethorphan, pseudoephedrine and triprolidine.
Dextromethorphan is a cough supperssant which has a central action on the cough centre.
Pseudoephedrine is a nasal decongestant and Triprolidine is for symptomatic relief of allergic cold.
Out of all the three, dextrometharphan has got abuse potential and withdrawal can cause severe withdrawal symptoms that you are experiencing now.
I would recommend you to consult a de-addiction specialist who will put you on some drugs protocol which will help you out.
hope this helped.
