Why am i getting strain in calf muscles after restarting activity ?

Age:19 Last physical normal Inactive I stopped being active for about a month, then restarted activity and strained some muscles in my calf. I wasnt extremely actice before this either but not as inactive as I was when I got the strain. Is it normal that about a month later the strain still persists? Did I restrain it (I had shin splints too). When can I restart my activity?

Thanks for query,
Due to lack of physical activity even slight strain you will get muscle spasm resulting painful muscle mass.
Do some physical exercise,start with few mnt and gradually increase.
You can go for running,jogging,swimming.
Take good brand Calcium,Vit D,A.
have nourishing food.take more milk,green veges,fruits.
