Why Am I Experiencing Peculiar Sound In My Ear?

hi, I am 62 yrs old retired Teacher. I am experiencing peculiar sound in my right ear from 2008. I have consulted an ENT specialist (ENT SMHS hospital Srinagar) after which he prescribed medicines stugeson. I got some temporary relief but the problem remained the same. I consulted him again after experiencing nausea, and he recommended an MRI which was ok.However, i had little relief and i consulted a neurologist who gave me Gravol, vergo 75 and naxdom 250mg after which i got some relief. After discontniuing the medicines I feel pressure in my eyes and haeviness on forehead. Kindly advice me in name of humanity.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You may be suffering from tinnitus. It may be due to infection or eustachian tube block or auditory nerve pathology. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet gincobiloba twice a day for five days. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. Avoid toxic drugs that damage the middle ear. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
