OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
In the current scenario, she needs an urgent assessment by a specialist in urology to see if there is any local cause leading to the bleeding apart from urinary infection. All anatomical defects should be repaired if possible. Also, coagulation profile should be done along with blood counts. A sonogram of the pelvis, urethroscopy if needed and a speculum exam are helpful to identify the possible cause. Styptics may help to lessen the amount of bleeding. She also needs to improve her general health through healthy diet and proper rest. Hope this helps.

OBGYN Dr. Nishikant Shrotri's  Response
Hallow Mumma,

If your daughter is loosing blood form the urine and not vagina, the reason should be in the urinary tract definitely.

Since urine examination has confirmed that there is no infection, the chances of stone in the urinary bladder or Kidney should be ruled out. Stone higher up would cause pain. So the chances of stone if at all could be in the urinary bladder. The other possibility could be some growth in the urinary bladder. Please get ultrasonography done to clinch the diagnosis. Depending upon the position and size of the stone, it can be managed by ultrasonography stone crushing or surgical removal.

Is she passing continuous urine from the vagina also? If so, the possibility of false passage between the urinary passage and vagina should be ruled out. This complication requires surgical repair.

Please report to the Obstetrician or urologist. This condition should not be managed at home with house remedies.
