Why am I facing problem to pass stools at the time of pregnancy ?

Hi I am 21 weeks pregnant , and as I have posterior placenta previa I was told by my doctor not to get strained or do walking. And now I face problem in passing stools ie ( I have hard stools). Is that very serious issue? kindly help me.. From Hema

straining at stool should be avoided
take advice from your doctor and take measures to prevent hard stool
take plenty water ,high roughage balanced diet
you can take sorbilin 4 tsf early in the morning in empty stomach .this may help you
