Whoosing Sound In Ear, Pressure In Forehead, Using Post Nasal Drip, Swimming Before. Suggestion?

Hi ive had this whooshing sound in my left ear when I bend over, I also get pressure in my forehead, I costantly have post nasal drip, ringing in my ears (tinnitus) and a feeling of tightness in my jaw. Any ideas what this might be?

Im 20 years old, in good shape and exercise a few times a month
. I have done alot of swimming over the past few months diving to around 10 feet to fetch weights. There were times when my ears would pop and felt quite uncomfortable afterwards.

Many thanks

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Tinnitus is the perception of sound in the ear when no sound is present.

It can be related to different causes and in your case may be related to your rhinosinusitis. Rhinosinusitis is inflammation of the nasal and sinus passages, these can occur separately but commonly occur together.

It would cause the post nasal drip that you are experiencing. The most common cause is an allergic response.
Treatment would involve avoiding the allergen (if it is known), the use of topical steroid nasal sprays and oral antihistamines.
A decongestant can be used if there is any nasal congestion.

You may want to consult an ENT specialist for examination.

I hope this helps
