While On Nuva Ring, What Could Cause Lower Pelvic Pain And Light Pink Discharge?

hi, for about three days now I have been having lower pelvic pains. tonight I had gone to the bathroom to urinate and when I wiped I noticed there was light pink blood on the toilet paper. I wiped again and noticed that it is in fact coming from my vagina. I started my period on the 8th of January and it went until the 14th. I am also on the nuva ring

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
With IUD such symptoms are very common and that must be due to the inflammatory process taken place around the IUD inserted, some how this might be the reason of pelvic inflammatory disease at least here I could say, you can manage it with the following drugs
1) Tab. Ofloxacine 400 mg twice a day for 7 days
2) Tab. Ibuprofen 400 mg twice a day (as per needed for the pain)
If this fails to responds then you have to remove the IUD, or either have a words with your doctor, take care and have good time.
