Which Specialist To Consult And What Treatment Can Cure Candida?
I have 2 sons that have Candida and have had this for the last 2 yrs. and have tried all different supplements for this condition and have had no luck. What treatment can they seek and a Doctor that will help them. This has interfered with their lives and work ect. This is coming from a worried mother.

The presence of fungal infection should be confirmed by the lab investigation like KOH mount of the skin scrapings of the affected area.
The symptoms and the lab investigations should correlate in making the diagnosis, if both of your son is having the fungal infection it should be treated by proper medications.
I would suggest them to follow 1.Keep that area clean and dry 2.Topical application of griseoflavin 3.Oral antifungal drugs once a week for 4-6 weeks.
These remedies helps to control the symptoms, if the symptoms are not coming down then we need to think about drug resistance and some other combination of antifungal drugs should be tried. Thank you.
