Which Day Of The Menstrual Cycle Should I Check Pregnancy?

i think i conceived in the last interaction i had with my husband which was just a few days after my periods got over but am not sure. My periods are supposed to be on the 6th of this coming month. So should I wait until the 6th or can we check now and get a sure answer?

There are some reliable methods for detecting pregnancy. They are reliable if done at the proper time.

Urine pregnancy test and/or ultrasonography test are reliable if performed 8-10 days after missed period.

Beta hCG tests are very sensitive and specific, hence can detect the pregnancy 2-3 days after missed period.

Any of these tests performed before the expected menses cannot diagnose the pregnancy.
