When Will The Sharp Ridge On Forehead Following A Head Injury Fade?

My daughter fell and hit her head on door jamb about 2-1/2 weeks ago at the babysitter, with no signs of concussion. The bruise is gone, but there is still a sharp "ridge" in the middle of her forehead. Will this go away on it's own or should I see our PCP?
