When Will The Effect Of Siprogut Be Noticeable?

Dear Doctor,
I just started using Siprogut 24 hours ago. Pain is pretty severe, so I take paracetamol as well. Could you please tell me when the pain should be going and when the effect of Siprogut is noticable? I am on holiday's now. When can I fly again?

Hi!
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Siprogut contains the active ingridient Ciprofloxacin.
Ciprofloxacin is a type of medicatio called quinolone antibiotic. Antibiotics are used to treat different types of infection caused by bacteria.
Siprogut is indicated to treat bacterial eye infections.
So as I told you this drug is an antibiotic,it isn't a painkiller.
It start to kill the bacteria in your infection since the moment you took the first dose.The pain you feel will go away gradually with the improvement of the inflammation signs.
You have to be patient and wait that the antibiotic works treating your infection.
During this time if you have pain you can take a painkiller like Ibuprofen,Paracetamol.
