When Will Pain After Urination Stop After Losing Virginity?

I lost my virginity 5 days ago. It was a little painful, but now it hurts really bad to pee! And I have to pee all the time and it s not a lot of pee. We didnt use a condom, but I m on birth control. I have a little discharge that is brown-ish colored. When will it stop hurting to pee? And am I ok?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

These symptoms are due to urinary infection which is common after unprotected intercourse. Would advice you to get a urine test done, start on antibiotics depending on the urine report. Drink a lot of oral fluids, after intercourse get up and pass urine, and when you pass urine, pass it forcefully; to avoid future urinary infection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rishma Lakhani, OB & GYN Specialist
