When To Expect Periods After Taking Primolut Nor?

I have an irregular menstruation. It is more than 2 months now since I had my last. Have done pregnancy test and consulted a doctor. The result is negative and she prescribed me to take Primolut Nor 10mg twice daily for 3 days. Today is the 3rd day after taking the medication. How soon can I expect my menstruation to come?

Understand your concern
Period will come 2-4 days after the primolut Nor and maximum it will come 7 days after taking primolut nor.
Primolut generally used in the second half of the period for hormonal imbalance to induce the period and may be used for 3-4 months if you have chronic problem.
If your period will not come then report the gynecologist to find out the cause of menstrual irregularity like ovarian cyst/PCOS, thyroid disorder, endometriosis after go for reproductive and thyroid hormone analysis, USG scan, ovarian follicle study.
