When Should One Can Take Home Pregnancy Test?

My period is about a week late now, and I've been having occasional cramping and nauseousness, as though my period is on the way. But it has yet to appear, and when I took a pregnancy test, it came out negative. Is there still a chance I could be pregnant?

Hi, thanks for writing..
Get a pregnancy test with early morning urine sample. If negative, you can confirm with hcg. hcg>25 indicates positive pregnancy.. If neg, you can take progesterone tablet for a week to get withdrawal bleeding.. Hope I HAVE ANSWERED YOUR QUERY. GOOD DAY..
