When Should Senna Tablets Be Taken For Constipation?
I had a cancer of the colon removed in June. Since removing the colostomy bag 3 weeks ago I have suffered constipation. I was given Senna tablets. Should I take these before or after meals. I also don't want to go back into a diarrhoea cycle. I a.m 73 weight 160lbs height 6 ft

Some advices that I can give to you are:
Take senna once a day at bedtime.
You can take senna with or without food. The normal dose of senna tablets for constipation in adults is one or two tablets at bedtime depending on the situation.
