When Is The Right Time To Remove The Fibroids During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 25wks preg with a cervical cerclage. I ve got four fibroids. Two inside the uterus and two outside. I m worried about when I m due to deliver. My doctor said once I m exactly 9mths I will go in for a C section also the stitches removed and the fibroids inside removed. My concern is fibroids removal come with huge bleeding. Is my doctor right? What should I be scared of?

Hello dear thanks for trusting health care magic.
Yes your gynecologist is right in saying so.
Better get it removed after 6 weeks postpartum.
Removal during cesarean section is alright in case of single fibroid but in multiple fibroids there is risk of excessive bleeding and even hysterectomy.
In case you have other questions you can contact me directly on http://bit.ly/drmanishajain
