Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion the pregnancy never occurs if the intercourse is done during the periods.Infact the periods time and a week on either side of it roughly come under safe period ie.,time during which pregnancy doesn't occur with intercourse. The fertile period is 3 days on either side of ovulation. The ovulation occurs on 14 th day before the expected period. So if suppose your expected period is on 30th then 30-14=16 th is the ovulation date and 13th to 19 th is fertile period. But this applies to only those with regular cycles. The good option is practicing intercourse regularly daily always increases the chances of conception.Avoid stress as it might delay fertility by causing hormonal imbalance.
