When Is It Safe To Have Sexual Intercourse After A Surgical Abortion?
I had a surgical abortion on December 22nd. Today would be the 11th day after the procedure. I know the general waiting period is two weeks before having intercourse but my boyfriend is in the navy and is leaving for 10 months straight. Would it be safe for me to have intercourse 3 days prior to the two week waiting period?

You can have intercourse after1-2 weeks of surgical abortion, however proper contraception should be used to avoid any pregnancy.
Pregnancy should be avoided at least 6 months after an abortion.
