When Can I Have Sex After Being Treated For Chlamydia Infection?

I was recently diagnosed with chlamydia and was treated with some 4 pills that I had to take at one time and I took antibiotics for 7 days. My fiance and I had sex afterwards after the treatment was over with a condom. My doctor gave us both pills again because we had sex with a condom on without checking to see if it was cleared. The second time around we took 3 pills at one time. 3 days after taking the pills I started consuming alcohol. I believe the infection is back because I m feeling a burning sensation. I m waiting on my results to come back but I m pretty sure I have it. Is it back because I started consuming alcohol two days after taking my meds? I m just really tired of this. And how long after taking meds do I have to wait to have sex with my fiance? Also does smoking weed or black and molds affect the medication?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
You had two courses for Chlamydia. Had your fiance got treated even though she had no symptoms? It is a must.
You can resume your sexual activities after 3 weeks without condom following the completion of treatment and with condoms just after a week itself. Consummation of Alcohol, weeds can modify the outcome of treatment. Burning sensation during urination not necessarily indicates relapse. Presence of pus cells, more than 5, indicates infection. Poor consummation of liquids also might be a cause for burning sensation during urination.
