When Can I Expect Period After Taking I-pill?

Hi Dr. Nirja. I had an accidental contraceptive rupture. I took the pill in 36 hours. It s been a 3 days now that I took iPill. How long should I wait for my period to come? Is there a general time frame that we see a cycle set in? or will it happen at its expected date (if the pill worked).

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.
After taking ipill bleeding occurs within 4 to 5 days but may vary in individual.
I advice you to wait for another two days and at any cost to see your consulting doctor to rule out incomplete abortion.

Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,
I find this answer helpful
