Whats Is The Cause For Pinkish Discharge After Periods?

Today i noticed light pink discharge. And this weird feeling when im done peeing sumtimes. It feels like im holding back a orgasmn or sumthing. And adominal pain. I had my period already. Dec 7. And had unprotected sex a day or two after my period was over.

Hi,

According to your history, if you are having regular 28 to 30 day menstrual cycles, the possibility of pregnancy is less as usually ovulation is not expected on 6th or 7th day of these cycles. The possible causes of your weird feeling are:
- Urinary tract infection and/or
- Pelvic infection, due to the unprotected intercourse.

These can present with symptoms like pain related to passing of urine, abdominal pain, etc. Taking plenty of water, avoiding the holding of urine can help to cure the symptoms to some extent. After completion of periods, sometimes little collected blood along with vaginal discharge can present as pinkish discharge.Other possible causes are minor injuries during intercourse, cervical erosion, etc. Usually this may subside soon.

If the symptoms persist, better to consult your gynecologist once and get examined. By clinical examination and by investigations like urine routine and microscopy, the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.
