What Would Have Caused Irregular Periods, Normal On 1st Day And Just Spotting On Other Days?

Hi im 36 yrs & this is the 1st time that im not having proper periods, 1st day (3rd Oct) the flow was normal but after that im having just spotting or when I go to the bathroom.
Please let me no why its happening & what I have to do for this.......

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Decrease in duration of periodsto 3- 4 days is not worrisome. As long as you are having regular cycles with a moderate amount of bleeding, it is indicative of ovulatory cycles. You should not have any problem in concieving or bearing children.
Usually such a minor change is caused by anemia, stress, dietary changes, oral pills or hormonal changes in the body.
In case the duration of bleeding decreases further and becomes less than one day then hormonal treatment like estrogen supplementation is required under the guidance of a gynecologist.
