What Would Be The Withdrawal Symptoms Of Risperdal And How Long Do They Persist?
I was wondering what some of the common side effects of weaning my son off of risperadal? He was prescribed this years ago for impulse control and have been lowering the dose per doctor supervision. Also how long would it take to see a negative reaction to lowering the dose?
Do not stop taking this drug abruptly as it may increase the intensity of withdrawal symptoms. Consult with your doctor before reducing or stopping this medication.
You may reduce withdrawal symptoms by slowly tapering off of this medication. Possible symptoms of withdrawal include:
Return of mania or symptoms of bipolar; please see your doctor and let the tapering be done under his supervision. symptoms WILL de-escalate with time.
