What Treatment To Be Taken For Painful, Itchy And Swollen Vagina?
i have an extremely painful,itchy and swollen vagina. I can barley walk hurts to walk I can't sit in the bathtub. Its hurts so bad that I cry when applying vagisil just so I can pee. I have used 8 tubes of vagisil in a matter of 4 days. I've tried everything. Today I noticed alot of blisters on my pubic area and is painful. Please tell me what this could be. I've had several yeast infections but never anything like this. Thanks for ur advice.

It is important to know the exact cause of the swelling and itching of the vagina. Many conditions could be associated to this. Yeast infections, infections with bacteria, Trichomonas Vaginalis , a common parasitic infection. It important to know if you experience any lower abdominal pains, any vaginal discharge, pain during intercourse or any notion of unprotected sex in the past. A physical exam, culture of teh discharge and an ultrasound if needed with a urine examination could give great inside into the causes of these symptoms. Treatment should be carried out under protected sex conditions, in any, and treatment of the sex partner is also advisable. Kind regards
