What Treatment Should I Undergo For Hearing Problems?

I need a ear doctor. I went UCI to see the ENT Doctor cause I lost hearing at my right ear completely and half of left ear last Jan. 2013. Dr said my right ear is dead but for my left ear I need hearing aid. I had hearing aid but this one doesn t know the difference between the noisy and the voice sound. It s not helping me much. So I don t use the hearing aid any more. I m having a big hearing problem now. Is there any other treatment for my left and right ear? I live in Orange county CA. 65yrs. female. and has a kidney problem.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
kidney problems itself can cause hearing issues - so that first needs to be ruled out - and also the medication you may be taking for it - in any case hearing is suited - needs to be serviced checked again if usable or not by an audiologist - apart from that need to rule out compatibility for cochlear implant at This age - in the meantime start on a nerve multivitamin hope this helped
