What Treatment Is Suggested For Blood Blisters Between Limp & Prosthetic Inside?

I have a prosthetic leg under my knee, the prosthetic is over 4 years old, its my 1st one. I have around 3-4 cm. space between my limp and the prosthetic inside. That causes blood blisters sometimes, its painfull and when it gets huge it pops and blood comes out. My question is how to avoid it ? Tanks
