I recenlty hurt my foot i dropped something on the left side of my left foot and heard a crunch sound and now my pinky toe is severely swollen discolored and has very extreme pain and the pain spreads to the middle of my foot and i am hardly able to walk could i have seriously hurt my foot?
hi, from the history and nature of injury u might have sustained a fracture of your little toe. you should 1. get an xray left foot anteroposterior and lateral view. 2. give rest to the affected part. 3. keep your foot elevated while sitting and sleeping. 4.apply ice packs 5-6 times day. 5.take anti inflammatory medicine like diclofenac 50 mg twice a day 6. if on xray u have a fracture you will require some sort of immobilisation after consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon regards
