My second toe right from my big toe on my right foot became swollen for about two days then returned to its normal size. Then the toe to its left that is next to the big toe on the right foot has become swollen for the past three days and the original toe is also swollen again and I m beginning to notice the same symptoms on my left foot. Neither big toe is swollen and there is no pain in any of the big or little toes. I have tried ibuprofen with no change in the swelling. My daily routine is normal and I have no foot injuries. I have had gout once, several years ago.
