I have been suffering with Labrynthitis since February after a middle ear infection and when I returned to work 3 weeks ago I started to feel terrible within hours of using my computer and suffered terrible vertigo and nausea again and was signed off work again. Now I find it very difficult to use a computer or look at television. I am taking cinnarazine and this is helping but I am due to return to work next week and am very concerned that the computer will set off the vertigo again. I am a legal secretary and spend around 8 hours a day on the computer.
From your symptoms seems that you are suffering from diffuse labyrinthitis. If after completion of the antibiotic therapy steel you are having nausea andvertigo then there is a possibility of persistance of infection in the middle ear. And you may required surgery like Myringotomy. You should consult your ENT surgeon if there is bulging of tympanic membrane thenthen it requires surgery.
