What To Do For The Pain In The Stomach?
My mother is suffering from pain in upper right side of stomach for past 8 months. And after a couple of test doctor suggested its because of fatty/swollen liver. while prescribing Omeparazol tablets. The pain is on/off every couple of weeks and even after more tests and continuing with above medicine it has not improved? she is obese and has high blood pressure. also suffers from chronic constipation. about 5 years back she had some gastric trouble and she has been taking Lactihep & Disogel(Probably an antacid) . Kindly suggest what should be next course of action and whether she can continue taking above medicines? Thank you

8 months of pain in abdomen can not be due to fatty liver.
Yes this can be due to constipation or the factors which caused constipation like Gastrointestinal cancer.
She should be subjected for the investigations :
CT scan of the abdomen
Enetroclysis
Upper Gi and Lower GI Endoscopy.
To find the cayuse and get a proper treatment.
The basic of getting the primary cause is most important.
