What To Do For Swelling And Soreness In Shin After Being Kicked While Playing Football?
I was playing soccer and i accedently kicked another player in the shoe, i got a large lump on my shin which decreased in size fast, but now 2 weeks later and i haven't gotten any bruise but i'm still swollen and sore. I'm just nervous because there is no bruise and maybe the old blood is trapped under the skin.
Due to blunt injury there can be hematoma collection .The bleeding that occurs result in hematoma collection. Over a period of time, as hematoma will resolve.
Continue ice application, and thrombhophobe ointment may help and take rest.
If required you may need to do blood investigation for prognosis and recovery. Take precaution to avoid infection around hematoma.
