What To Do For Speedy Recovery After Ankle Surgery?
hello iam am post surgical pt recovery form a compound trimalleoar with surigical fixation devices in place one syndemosis ankle screw 2 fixation one for placement and a whole bunch one the bone for the tib for the long haul. question i am asd and have had a gambiet of health issues. i am haveing inflamitory issues as well as prblematic cianosis of the affected apendage.allevaies on rest and ice but really looks at times to state sufferin death to me will this be long term ? will it increase grad get worse or do i need to call in the an holy oil treatment on this profound mess A? lupus issues i know autism is a hell of a failure to be counted against this in terms of control center issues as well as throid problems and signal marker delays or malfuncion.dibetic.strokes hx. a lot against me not much going for the long term just looking toward temorary survival palitavely speaking. am just looking for some jargon toward possibliites bouth good and bad beter to informed than not .straight up not sunny side with a bit of hope.know that its not a good thing any hoo but wondering if i am in regection of devices...not good with heavy metals causing increased heat all up in my joints. can i get some gander on this subject material.have other problems that preside over the leg but would like to know will i face loss again.as it will not be the same. ps told i have 15 screws if pertinate. davis a

You have had surgery for a compound trimalleolar fracture of the ankle and fixation with metal plate and screws including a syndesmosis screw. I assume the metals are stainless steel. As you are still in the post surgical recovery phase you need to wait for wound healing. now you have mentioned a list of medical problems,from lupus,diabetes,stroke and so on. Regardless of all that all these medical issues need to be well controlled especially diabetes. The surgical wound need to be healed well.
Swelling around the lower part of the limb should be controlled by elevation, compressive bandages and regular exercises of the foot and ankle. icing the part should be done carefully if you have cyanosis as the blood flow can decrease with it. Generally, if the wound is OK and there's no sign of inflammation or infection at that area its unlikely that you will get a metal reaction. You will not be able to weight bear on the affected limb so need to use a walker to move around. Keep active mentally and physically and be in good spirits with a positive outlook.
