What To Do For Baby Passing Stool For Every Feed?
my 8 months old daughter is passing stool with every feed. We have come from US to India and she was taking enfamil in USA and in India we tried to give Naan and Enfa pro which is recommended for 6 to 12 months olds. But she has started to pass stool with every feed now. Because of this she has developed reddishness near the area where stool passes out. Please suggest solution for controlling the stool for my baby.

Hi. In infants the gastrocolic reflex is more active. So they tend to pass stool with each feed. You should be concerned only if there is recent increase in the frequency of the stools or this symptoms occurred after any recent modification in the diet of the child. For the redness in the perianal region you can apply siloderm cream after every stool for faster healing.
