What Should Be Done For Recuuring Pain And Swelling On The Upper Side Behind Uvula?

Hi
I have been getting pain on the upper side behind Uvula for almost 1 uear now. With medicined, antibiotics it get little bettere but retursns later on. Some times it's very much swollem. What should I do now....Have seen 3 diffierent doctors for more that 10 times now. Had 5 courses of anitbiotic but this problem doesn't goes away. Gargling with betadine gargle help, but it returns again after few days...PLease help...Am in Toronto..

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
The condition is called the recurant uvulitis,it may be allergic, or due to viral or bacterial infection.
You may need to have culture and sensitivity of the throat swab and get the treatment accordingly.
so i advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.You may have cautarization with silver nitrate to prevent recurance.
Avoid taking cool water and cool things repeatedly, and also avoid the things allergic to you.
