What Should Be Done For Pain And Heavy Bleeding After Having I-pill With A History Of Surgical Abortion?

hello doctor,

my girlfriend(age 22 years) in the past had a concieved through her ex boyfriend and she was given a medicine due to which the pregnancy got aborted in the 3rd month..but it became life threatening and she was operated upon by a doc and the abortion was completed. she since then is anemic..this was 4 years ago.
her periods are normal but her discharge is blackish....recently we had unprotected sex a week back and she had an ipill...she ia having heavy bleeding and pain since yesterday...kindly advice

Hi,

If she had an i Pill last week and is having heavy painful bleeding then she must consult a doctor as she is anemic. Severe bleeding can lead to dangerously low hemoglobin levels which can get life threatening.
