What Needs To Do For High Pulse And Pale Skin After Laparoscopy?
I have just had a laparosacopy which my gynae removed adhesions around the bowel, drained a cysts and found low grade endometriosis on the bladder. I am experiencing rapid pulse I.e.average 106bpm accompanied by urinary frequency and pale skin. Should I be concerned or should I see my doctor asap?
Hello! I had gone through your query and understand your concern. In the way you describe it seems to be Anemia causing pale skin, rapid pulse, weakness, fatigue. If you didn't had any of these symptoms after the procedure and these concerns came abruptly I suggest to see your treating doctor as soon as possibly because it might be anemia due to bleeding that might have occur after the procedure. If you had this symptoms since you had the procedure done it might be symptoms due to blood loss during the laparoscopy and you will improve after some days, the time that your body needs to adapted and to increase the red blood cells production to substitute the loss blood.
You should do a complete blood test to confirm the diagnosis.
Hope It helped. Take care Dr.Rovena
