What measures can I take to cure diarrhea and severe weakness ?
Hi sir, my name is deepu.I am not feeling good.I have Diarrhea and vomiting tendency.Diarrhea in the sense not continuously but when I am going it is in liquid state.I am totally tired.

I would like to know when your diarrhoea and vomiting started, how many episodes per day, any associated fever,any blood or mucous in the stool etc. You are feeling tired because you are dehydrated from the diarrhoea. You are losing a lot of fluid and electrolytes when you have diarrhoea. The main treatment of diarrhoea therefore is rehydration.. replenish your fluid and electrolytes. Have kanji ( gruel with rice and water), Tender coconut water is ideal because it has glucose , electrolytes and water. ORS sachet.. Dissolve 1 sachet of ORS in 1 litre of clean drinking water and drink as often as required. It should be consumed within 24 hours of preparation. Any unused solution after 24 hours should be discarded and a fresh solution should be prepared. If it is just mild diarrhoea , try taking a tablespoonful of honey.
You can also take Tab. VIZYLAC 1 tablet twice a day. This is a combination of vit B complex and lactobacillus(good bacteria). If you are feeling nauseous(like vomiting) take 1 tablet of DOMSTAL 10mg half an hour before taking your food. If your diarrhoea is really bad and you are feeling very sick and tired , please visit your physician at the earliest. Hope you get better soon :)
