What Leads To Excess Fatigue After Taking Hucog HP 5000 During Pregnancy?
Hello Doctor,My name is Thimmaiah and it s been close to 3 months since I got married. My wife is pregnant and the scanning report says it has been 8 weeks and 6 days now. They have suggested her to take HUCOG 5000 HP injection for 16 weeks . Now I have taken my wife 9 times for the injection. She is having pain due to injection and feels like she do not wNt to have it anymore. She is even feeling very tired and strengthless. What can you suggest on this doctor. Does she still needs to continue or can she stop the injection or is there any alternative.
The Hucog injection contains Human chorionic gonadotropin hormone used for various disorders of infertility as well as pregnancy maintenance issues. It is usually not recommended for such a long period as in your case. However, as there are severe side effects you can not cope up with the undesirable ill effects. It is best recommended to consult your OBGYN for its discontinuation and alternative prescriptions for the same.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
