Hi,

Mecofol plus contains vitamins nicotinamide and vitamin B-12 and commonly used in the treatment of nutritional deficiencies as well as peripheral neuritis associated with diabetes.

The swelling of the limbs could be due some problems with kidneys, heart or liver for which he should be clinically examined to find out the underlying cause and its treatment.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
